A little about me...I was born in Philadelphia and raised in Montgomery County, PA. I come from a long line of servicemen in my family. I enlisted in the U.S. Army at 17 and served for 8 years in the Infantry. I traveled the world and served in the Middle East. I was forged in these challenging environments and became committed to learning about leadership and resilience. I came home and became a police officer in Lansdale, PA. I served for 13 years as a Patrolman, Detective and Undercover Officer. I earned two college degrees while serving the community. In 2021, I retired and pursued entrepreneurship. I led two small businesses and authored a book during this time. But something was missing - my desire to help and serve people authentically. 4 years later and I'm back! I love being a cop because I'm passionate in being a community helper. Over the past few years, I've had the opportunity to travel the U.S. and speak publicly on issues involving the human experience. From leadership to wellness, I share my experiences-for better or worse-to help others live a better life. This is how I show up on campus, focused on adding value.
My wife, Kristen, is a schoolteacher and we enjoy raising our three children. When I'm off-duty, I'm coaching my boys in sports, cheering on my daughter at her dance competitions and playing with our dog, Bella. I'm a strong advocate for physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well-being. I work hard to meet people where they're at and listen to their experiences with care and authenticity.
Why I enjoy working at Lehigh...I've had a long and rewarding career keeping communities safe from crime. It's now time to be a positive beacon of light for the next generation of Americans. I'm focused on coaching and mentoring. My wife is a LU alum, and we were married at Packer Church! The campus always held a special place in our lives and I'm excited to selflessly serve others on our vibrant and forward-thinking campus.
Lehigh is a community. I strive to follow our one-by-one approach every day. Connection leads to healthier relationships, less conflict, increased safety and higher outputs. I love being apart of the LU community!
