More about me...

Greg lives in Lower Saucon Township with his wife and their three dogs, K9 Clare, K9 LUcy (retired) and Elton. His partner Allee serves as a full-time EMT with an EMS agency in the Saucon Valley area.

After graduating from high school, Greg began working for the Borough of Hellertown Public Works Department. In his desire to follow a lifelong dream of becoming a Police Officer, Greg took a leave from his Public Works position and put himself through the Allentown Police Academy. Upon graduation from the Academy, he chose to accept an offer from the Lehigh University Police Department. Greg started with LUPD in January of 2008. Prior to becoming a K9 Handler for the Department, he was assigned to the Bike Unit and involved in Community Policing. He is certified in IPMBA, is a certified Bicycle Mechanic (United Bicycle Institute of Oregon), and is the Department's Animal Control Officer.

Greg is currently a K9 Handler for Lehigh University, having developed and established the explosives detection and tracking program with his first partner K9 LUcy, beginning in 2016. With K9 LUcy's retirement in 2025, Greg has a new partner, K9 Clare. Greg and K9 Clare both hold certification by the National Police Canine Association for explosives detection and tracking. They provide service to the Lehigh University community as well as being requested by the greater surrounding communities, state, and federal agencies.

Why I enjoy working at Lehigh..."I chose a career at Lehigh University because I love the opportunities and the environment of not only the campus itself but of the history and tradition as well. I truly enjoy providing service and safety to the community."
